CODIUS
Aimed at new students on undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Seville’s own campuses. Earn your first 2 credits* at the University!
New students enrolled on undergraduate degree programmes who have passed the CODIUS assessment and completed the satisfaction survey may apply for:
- from September 2025, 2 optional credits* from the registrar’s office at your institution (*in those degree programmes where the curriculum permits),
- once the academic year has been successfully completed, a certificate of academic achievement via the US online portal, under the ‘Students’ profile, via the ‘Issue CODIUS certificate’ procedure
What’s more, during the course, if you complete at least 45 of the 51 challenges you’ll encounter, you’ll receive a final reward and will be able to borrow 25 items during the 2024/2025 academic year, instead of the 20 allowed under the general regulations
You are the star of the show. Are you ready to venture into the unknown? Join the adventure, learn through play, and embark on CODIUS! A game-based methodology is used. The course is virtual and will boost your digital skills, making a real difference to your learning journey. The digital skills covered in this course follow the European DigComp reference framework.
Anywhere! All you need is a device with internet access to log in to the University of Seville’s platform. Click on ‘e-learning’ to access it.
You can take the course whenever you like, from 1 October 2024 to 30 June 2025.
You’ll set sail on the CODIUS, a galleon famous for its explorations, and during your adventure on board, you’ll go through various stages where you’ll encounter content and multimedia (which may be text-based or in video form) and complete a series of challenges (questions) that will help you earn achievements. At the end of the adventure, you’ll face The Grand Test. Once you’ve completed it, you’ll have conquered the CODIUS!
