Self-service laptop loan

The laptop self-service loan scheme is an individual laptop loan service that allows members of the university community to access this service under the same conditions as at the library counter, but with greater flexibility regarding both collection and return.

This service is currently available at:

Simply go to the touchscreen on the machines and log in with your UVUS; this will allow you to unlock the lockers in an easy and intuitive way.

  • The system will process the loan and display the due date on the screen; it will also send an email to the user with the return time.
  • The loan period is 7 days, non-renewable, and items must be returned at the counter (Engineering Library) or at the self-service laptop loan machine (at the CRAI A. Ulloa and the Education Library) at least half an hour before the Library closes.

If a user is blocked by the system for any reason (expired user registration, outstanding books, etc.), they will not be able to use this service.

IMPORTANT: The user is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the equipment during the loan period. In the event of the laptop or any of its accessories being misplaced or lost, the user is responsible for replacing it. Misuse of this service will result in its suspension, and appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken, depending on the nature of the damage caused.
