Rules for using the self-study rooms

Who has access to the self-study areas?

  • To access the self-study areas, users must log in as members of the US university community.
  • Some rooms are reserved for use by the centre’s teaching or research staff.

Booking terms and conditions

  • Bookings can be made for 2 hours per day. This time slot may be extended provided there are no other requests to use the room.
  • Upon entering the room, the applicant’s US card must be left at the Library’s circulation desk.
  • The PCs will be cleaned periodically and all files not belonging to the computer’s original configuration will be deleted.
  • In the event of a breakdown or malfunction of the equipment, you must notify the Library staff.
  • Use of the rooms for purposes not related to study, teaching or research will be subject to appropriate sanctions, in accordance with the Library Regulations.

Opening hours

  • The opening hours are the same as those of the libraries in which they are located.
